BY THE PRESIDENT OF TKE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 145

DECLARING MONDAY, AUGUST 31, 1987, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN LIPA CITY.

WHEREAS, Monday, August 31, 1987, marks the 40th anniversary of the creation of Lipa City; and

WREREAS, the residents of Lipa City snoula be afforded an opportunity to participate in the ceremonies on that historic occasion;

NCW, THEREFORE, |, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Mondey, August 31, 1987, as a specie! public holiday in Lipa City.
