PROCLAMATION NO. 145

DECLARING 2 MARCH OF EACH YEAR A SPECIAL DAY IN THE _ MUNICIPALITY OF CABATUAN, ILOILO TO COMMEMORATE THE BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF TOMAS CONFESOR

WHEREAS, the people of Cabatuan, Iloilo have traditionally served 2 March of every year to commemorate the birthday of the te Tomas Confesor;

WHEREAS , they have requested the President, through mgressman Licurgo P. Tirador of the 3rd District of Iloilo, to clare.the same date of each year a special non-working holiday;

WHEREAS, it is proper for the residents of the Municipality of batuan to commemorate the birth anniversary of Tomas Confesor and be given an opportunity to celebrate the occasion with xropriate ceremonies so that they may better reflect on and ulate his noble deeds and patriotism;

_ NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Republic the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do reby declare the 2nd day of March of every year as a special non-

rking day in the Municipality of Cabatuan, Iloilo.
