PROCLAMATION NO. _146

DECLARING THE 27TH DAY OF MARCH OF EVERY YEAR AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SAN JUAN

WHEREAS, the 27th day of March marks the anniversary of the reconstitution of San Juan as an independent municipality under Act No. 1625 enacted on March 27, 19073

. WHEREAS, by virtue of Ordinance No. 42 dated May 27, 1988, the Sangguniang Bayan of San Juan declared the 27th day of March of every year as "San Juan Day" or “Araw ng San _ duan" and, accordingly, requested for the issuance of a

_ Presidential Proclamation declaring the 27th day of March of _ every year as a non-working public holiday in the

_ Municipality of San Juan; and

i, WHEREAS, it is proper that the residents of the “Municipality of San Juan be given full opportunity to

_ celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

a NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do _ hereby declare the 27th day of March of every year as a special day in the Municipality of San Juan.
