PROCLAMATION NO, 1467

DECLARING THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 28, 2008, AS SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF ESCALANTE, PROVINCE OF NEGROS OCCIDENTAL

WHEREAS, Thursday, February 28, 2008, marks the 7" Charter Day Anniversary of the City of Escalante;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Escalante be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Thursday, February 28, 2008, as special (non-working) day in the City of Escalante.
