BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 1468

DECLARING MONDAY, MARCH 3, 2008, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF LA UNION

WHEREAS, March 2, 2008, marks the 158" Foundation Day anniversary of the Province of La Union which falls on a Sunday; ~

WHEREAS, to enable the people of the Province of La Union celebrate the occasion, the Sangguniang Panilalawigan of La Union requested that Monday, March 3, 2008 be declared as a special (non-working) day instead;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of La Union be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriete ceremonies,
