"1',1/ Ip MAI.ACANANG Manila BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 15 DECLARING THE PERIOD AUGUST 18 TO 23, 1992, AS "NATIONAL HOG RAISERS WEEK" WHEREAS, the National Hog Raisers Group, Inc., is the biggest umbrella organization of hog raisers, counting among its members swine associations from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao and backyard hog raisers from allover the country; WHEREAS, the National Hog Raisers Group, Inc. will be holding its Second Anniversary and Indu,ction Night on August 23, 1992 in Manila; . WHEREAS,all hog raisers nationwide will converge in Manila for conference activities, workshops_and field trips to outlying farms in the provinces close to Metro Manila; WHEREAS, it is necessary to focus national attention on the vital role played by the hog raising sector in accelerating the development of the livestock industry; NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of thePhilippines, by virtue of the powes vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period August 18 to 23, 1992 as "National Hog Raisers Week" under th'e auspices of the National Hog Raisers Group, Inc.
