PROCLAMATION NO. 1515

DECLARING FRIDAY, MAY 23, 2008, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CALACA, PROVINCE OF BATANGAS

WHEREAS, Friday, May 23, 2008, marks the birth anniversary of General Eleuterio Marasigan, a great Calaguefno and a patriot of libertarian struggle in the Province of Batangas;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Calaca, Province of Batangas be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Friday, May 23, 2008, as special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Calaca, Province of Batangas.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereuinto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
