BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 1526

DECLARING THURSDAY, JUNE 12, 2008, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF SILAY

WHEREAS, Thursday, June 12, 2008, marks the 51% Charter Day anniversary of the City of Silay;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Silay be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Thursday, June 12, 2008, as special (non-working) day in the City of Silay.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, | have hereunto sex my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 11th day of June, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Eight.
