BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 153

DECLARING MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 1987, AS A NON-WORKING SPECIAL DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF CAMARINES NORTE.

WHEREAS, the 78th birth anniversary of the late Wenceslao Q. Vinzons, a native son of the Province of Camarines Norte, falls on September 28, 1987;

WHEREAS, the courage and love of country with which the late Wenceslao Q. Vinzons offered his life during the last war best exemplify Filipino patriotism; and

WREREAS, the Province of Camarines Norte should be given full opportunity to celebrate the event. with fitting ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Monday, September 28, 1987, as a non-working special day in the Province of Camarines Norte.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the s@al of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
