BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NG, 1540

DECLARING TUESDAY, JUNE 24, 2008, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF MASBATE

WHEREAS, Tuesday, June 24, 2008, marks the observance of the Kasadyaan sa Dagat Festiva! in the Province of Masbate;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Masbate be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Tuesday, June 24, 2008, as special (non-working) day in the Province of Masbate.
