BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION WNQ. 1542

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, JULY 23, 2008, AS SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN BATANGAS CITY

WHEREAS, Wednesday, July 23, 2008, marks the Foundation Day anniversary of Batangas City;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of Batangas City be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with aspropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYQ, do hereby declare Wednesday, July 23, 2008, as special (non-working) day in Batangas

City.
