PROCLAMATION NO. 1556

CREATING AND DESIGNATING A BUILDING KNOWN AS STARMALL EDSA-SHAW, LOCATED ALONG SHAW BOULEVARD, CORNER EDSA, MANDALUYONG CITY, AS INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CENTER PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7916, AS AMENDED BY REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8748

Pursuant to the powers vested in me under Republic Act No. 7916, the Special Economic Zone Act of 1995, as amended by Republic Act No, 8748 and upon recommendation of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authcrity, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby create and designate a building, subject to the provisions of Republic Act No. 7916 as amended, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, Resolution No. 00-411 dated 29 December 2000 and Resolution No. 06-385 dated 25 August 2006 of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, known as the Starmall EDSA-Shaw as Information Technology Center, located along Shaw Boulevard, corner EDSA, Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila, containing an area of Twenty Five Thousand Four Hundred Thirty One (25,431) Square Meters, more or less, as defined by the following technical description:
