Proclamation No. 156

RESERVING FOR MUNICIPAL BUILDING SITE AND SCHOOL PURPOSES TWO PARCELS OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE POBLACION, MUNICIPALITY OF GATTARAN, PROVINCE OF CAGAYAN, ISLAND OF LUZON.

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce and pursuant to the provisions of section eighty-three of Commonwealth Act Numbered One hundred and forty-one, I hereby withdraw from sale or settlement and reserve for municipal building site and school purposes, under the administration of the municipal government of Gattaran, Cagayan, and the Director of Education, respectively, subject to private rights, if any there be, the following-described parcels of the public domain, situated in the Poblacion, municipality of Gattran, Province of Cagayan, Island of Luzon, and particularly described in Bureau of Lands plan Mr-358, to wit:

Lot No. 1 (municipal building site). – Beginning at a point marked "1" on Bureau of Lands plan Mr-358, S. 71˚ 16’ E. 493.94 m. more or less, from B. L. L. M. No. 1, municipality of Gattaran, thence N. 80˚ 53’ W. 100.59 m. to point 2; N. 8˚ 35’ 100.16 m. to point 3; S. 81˚ 18’ E. 99.91 m. to point 4; S. 8˚ 12’ W. 100.91 m. to point 1, point of beginning.

Containing an area of 1.0078 hectares.

Bounded on the northeast, by lot No. 3; on the southeast, by lot No. 137; and on the southeast and northwest, by proposed road.

Lot No. 2 (school site). – Beginning at a point marked "1" on Bureau of Lands plan Mr-358, N. 71˚ 23’ E. 341.78 m. more or less, from B. L. L. M. No. 1, municipality of Gattaran, thence S. 80˚ 46’ E. 101.02 m. to point 2; S. 16˚ 03’ E. 133.59 m. to point 3; N. 81˚ 10’ W. 99.59 m. to point 4; N. 46˚ 24’ W. 62.62 m. to point 5; N. 4˚ 44’ E. 86.42 m. to point 1, point of beginning.

Containing an area of 1.4278 hectares.

Bounded on the north, by lot No. 152; on the northeast, by lot No. 3; on the southwest, by lots Nos. 3 and 133; and on the west, by lot No. 128.

Bearings true. Declination, 0˚ 07’ E.

Points referred to are marked on Bureau of Lands plan Mr-358.

Surveyed: July 16, 18, and 30 to November 6 and 7, 1935.

Approved: April 15, 1936.

NOTE. – Lot No. 1 =Lot No. 4220 of Gattaran cadastre No. 272.

Lot No. 2 = Lot No. 4230 of Gattaran cadastre NO. 272.

All corners not otherwise described are old B. L. concrete monuments 15 by 60 cm.
