Proclamation No. 157

EXCLUDING FROM THE OPERATION OF PROCLAMATION NO. 39, SERIES OF 1920, AND RESERVING FOR MILITARY PURPOSES A PARCEL OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE BARRIO OF TAKIAN, MUNICIPALITY OF LA TRINIDAD, MOUNTAIN PROVINCE, ISLAND OF LUZON.

Pursuant to the provisions of section eighty-eight of Commonwealth Act Numbered One hundred and forty-one, I hereby exclude from the operation of Proclamation Numbered Thirty-nine, series of nineteen hundred and twenty, and reserve for military purposes, under the administration of the Chief of staff, Philippine Army, pursuant to section eighty-three of the same Act, the following-described parcel of the public domain, situated in the barrio of Takian, municipality of La Trinidad, Mountain Province, Island of Luzon, and described in the Bureau of Lands plan Ir-330-Amd., to wit:

Lot No. 1. – A parcel of land (lot No. 1 of the amendment-subdivision plan Ir-330-Amd., being a portion of the land described on the original paln Ir-330, G. L. R. O. Record No. ), situated in the barrio of Takian, municipality of La Trinidad, Mountain Province. Bounded on the N., NE., and E., by Baguio-Bontoc Road; and on the S., SW., and W., by lot No. 2 of the amendment-subdivision plan. Beginning at a point marked "1" on plan being N. 59˚ 18’ E., 1,137.05 m., more or less, from triangulation station North Base, municipality of La Trinidad, thence N. 75˚ 20’ E., 109.79 m. to point "2;" thence S. 59˚ 37’ E., 214.21 m. to point "3;" thence S. 1˚ 18’ E., 174.44 m. to point "4;" thence S. 89˚ 24’ W., 194.90 m. to point "5;" thence N. 82˚ 36’ W., 92.68 m. to point "6;" thence N. 19˚ 54’ W., 218.33 m. to point "7;" thence N. 1. to point "8;" thence S. 76˚ 43’ E., 66.66 m. to the point of beginning; containing an area of seventy-nine thousand nine hundred fifty-nine square meters (79,959), more or less. All points referred to are indicated on the plan; and on the ground, points "5," "6," and "7," are marked by galvanized iron spikes in crosses on trees; point "8," by B. L. concrete monument; and the rest, by old B. L. concrete monuments; bearings true; declination, 0˚ 26’ E.; date of the original survey, November 6-12, 1930, and that of the amendment-subdivision survey, October 5-8, 1936.
