BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 1575
DECLARING WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 20, 2008, AS SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF LUCENA
WHEREAS, Wednesday, August 20, 2008, marks the Charter Day anniversary of the City of Lucena;
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Lucena, be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Wednesday, August 20, 2008, as special (nor-working) day in the City of Lucena.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
