Proclamation No. 158

RESERVING FOR SCHOOL PURPOSES TWO PARCELS OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE BARRIOS OF SAN RAFAEL AND SAN JOSE, MUNICIPALITY OF MONTALBAN, PROVINCE OF RIZAL, ISLAND OF LUZON.

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce and pursuant to the provisions of section eighty-three of Commonwealth Act Numbered One hundred and forty-one, I hereby withdraw from sale or settlement and reserve for school purposes, under the administration of the Director of Education, subject to private rights, if any there be, the following-described parcels of the public domain, situated in the barrios of San Rafael and San Jose, municipality of Montalban, Province of Rizal, island of Luzon, and particularly described in Bureau of Lands plan Mr-254, sheets Nos. 1 and 2, to wit:

Lot No. 1 (barrio of San Rafael). – Beginning at a point marked "1" on Bureau of Lands plan Mr-254, N. 87˚ 13’ E. 1,434.67 m. from B. L. L. M. No. 1, municipality of Montalban, thence S. 61˚ 33’ E. 52.26 m. to point 2; S. 30˚ 56’ W. 91.03 m. to point 3; N. 73˚ 51’ W. 52.91 m. to point 4; N. 30˚ 21’ E. 102.29 m. to point 1, point of beginning.

Containing an area of 5,000 square meters.

Points 1 and 4, old P. L. S. concrete monuments.

Bounded on the northeast, by property of the municipal government of Montalban; on the southeast, by property of Isabel Manahan; on the southwest, by property of the municipal government of Montalban; and on the northwest, by Lucerio Geronimo Street.

Bearings true. Declination, 0˚ 48’ E.

NOTE. – This is identical with lot No. 1, Psu-18108, as surveyed for the same applicant.

Lot No. 2 (barrio of San Jose). – Beginning at a point marked "1" on Bureau of Lands plan Mr-254, N. 78˚ 15’ W. 907.91 m. from B. L. L. M. No. 1, municipality of Montalban, thence S. 68˚ 24’ E. 53.29 m. to point 2; S. 33˚ 05’ W. 43.96 m. to point 3; N. 55˚ 20’ W. 7.81 m. to point 4; S. 55˚ 10’ W. 48.45 m. to point 5; S. 28˚ 37’ W. 42. 08 m. to point 6; N. 64˚ 32’ W. 45.87 m. to point 7; N. 40˚ 19’ E. 127.08 m. to point 1, point of beginning.

Containing an area of 5,810 square meters.

All corners are B. L. concrete monuments, 15 by 60 cm.

Bounded on the northeast, by Andres Bonifacio Street; on the southeast, by Juan Sumulong Street and property of the municipal government of Montalban; on the southwest, by property of the government of Montalban; and on the northwest, by General Antonio Luna Street.

Bearings true. Declination, 0˚ 48’ E.
