PROCLAMATION NO. 1589

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, 2008 AS SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF LOS BANOS, PROVINCE OF LAGUNA

WHEREAS, Wednesday, September 17, 2008, marks the Foundation Day anniversary of the Municipality of Los Baftos, Province of Laguna;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Los Bafios, Province of Laguna, be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Wednesday, September 17, 2008, as special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Los Bafios, Province of Laguna.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
