BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 1599

DECLARING THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 18, 2008, AS SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR

WHEREAS, Thursday, September 18, 2008, marks the 56 Foundation Day anniversary of the Province of Zamboanga del Sur;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Zamboanga del Sur, be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Thursday, September 18, 2008, as special (non-working) day in the Province of Zamboanga del Sur.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
