MALACANAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 16 DECLARING SATURDAY, 23 JULY 2016, AS A SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF BATANGAS WHEREAS, Saturday, 23 July 2016, marks the Foundation Day of the City of Batangas; WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Batangas be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies. NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO R. DUTERTE, do hereby declare Saturday, 23 July 2016, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Batangas.
