Proclamation No. 162

RESERVING FOR FOREST STATION SITE PURPOSES AND DESIGNATING AS NAGA-NAGA FOREST STATION SITE RESERVATION THE PARCEL OF PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MARGOSATUBIG, PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA, ISLAND OF MINDANAO.

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce, and pursuant to the provisions of section eighty-three of Commonwealth Act Numbered One hundred and forty-one known as "The Public Land Act," I, Manuel L. Quezon, President of the Philippines, hereby reserve for forest station site purposes, and withdraw from sale, settlement, or other disposition, subject to private rights, if any there be, that portion of the public domain situated in the municipality of Margosatubig, Province of Zambonga, Island of Mindanao, and described in the Bureau of Forestry map No. F. R. – 74 (Ir-298), to wit:

Beginning at a point marked "1" on Bureau of Forestry map No. F. R. – 74 (Ir-298), a P. L. S. concrete monument, 15 by 60 cm., which is N. 17˚ 12’ W., 839.88 meters, more or less, from B. L. L. M. No. 1, barrio of Naga-Naga, municipality of Margosatubig, Zamboanga; thence S. 41˚ 35’ E., 88.52 meters to corner 2, a P. L. S. concrete monument, 15 by 60 cm; thence S. 31˚ 05’ W., 79.90 meters to corner 3, a rock marked with P. L. S. concrete monument, 15 by 60 cm.; thence N. 43˚ 13’ W., 106.80 meters to corner 5, a P. L. S. concrete monument, 15 by 60 cm, and thence N. 54˚ 25’ E., 100.83 meters to corner 1, the point of beginning.

Containing an area of 1.0504 hectares.

The said parcel of land shall be known as the Naga-Naga Forest Station Site Reservation and shall remain under the administration of the Bureau of Forestry.

In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Commonwealth of the Philippines to be affixed.
