BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 163

DECLARING FRIDAY, 17 MARCH 2017, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BONGABONG, ORIENTAL MINDORO

WHEREAS, the Municipality of Bongabong, Oriental Mindoro marks the celebration of the “Sulyog Festival” on March 17 — 19, 2017:

WHEREAS, to enable the people of the Municipality of Bongabong, Oriental Mindoro, celebrate the occasion, the Office of the Mayor requested that Friday, 17 March 2017, be declared as a special non-working day;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Bongabong, Oriental Mindoro, be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, |, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Friday, 17 March 2017, as a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Bongabong, Oriental Mindoro.
