BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO, 1635

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 8, 2008, AS SPECIAL (NON- ~ WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF KOROGNADAL, PROVINCE OF SOUTH COTABATO

WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 8803 dated August 16, 2000, provided for the conversion of the Municipality of Koronadal into a component city to be known as the City of Koronadal and was ratified on October 8, 2000;

WHEREAS, Wednesday, October 8, 2008 marks the gt Charter Day anniversary of the City of Koronadal, Province of South Cotabato;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Koronadal, Province of South Cotabato, be given full spportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGA:L-ARROYO, do hereby

declare Wednesday, October 8, 2008, as special (non-working) day in the City of Koronadal, Province of South Cotabato.
