CALLING THE BATASANG BAYAN TO A SPECIAL SESSION

WHEREAS, the President needs the advice and assistance of the Batasang Bayan on certain urgent matters affecting the national interest;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby call the Batasang Bayan to a Special Session commencing on the 3rd day of May, 1977, to consider such resolutions as may be brought before it.

All persons entitled to sit as Members of the Batasang Bayan are requested to take notice of this Proclamation.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 30th day of April, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and seventy-seven.
