BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO, 1641

DECLARING FRIDAY, OCTOBER 24, 2008, AS SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF NEGROS ORIENTAL

WHEREAS, Friday, October 24, 2008 marks the celebration of the Buglasan Festival in the Province of Negros Oriental,

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Negros Oriental, be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do _ hereby declare Friday, October 24, 2008, as special (non-warking) day in the Province of Negres Oriental.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
