PROCLAMATION NO. 165
DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM MARCH 11 TO 17, 2002, AS NATIONAL BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY WEEK
WHEREAS, the 7" Philippine World Building and Construction Exposition — WORLDBEX 2002 shall be held on March 13 to 17, 2002 at the World Trade Center, Metro Manila, to be attended by construction trade professionals, architects, engineers, property owners, land developers and direct corporate users;
WHEREAS, the building construction and infrastructure industry is a vital component in national development;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philipppines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from March 13 to 17, 2002, as NATIONAL BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY WEEK.
I call upon all construction trade professsionals, building administrators, land developers, engineers, architects, designers, government and private institutions, and associations to give the observance of the week their full support.
