Proclamation No. 167

RESERVING FOR FOREST STATION SITE PURPOSES AND DESIGNATING AS BROOKE’S POINT FOREST STATION SITE RESERVATION THE PARCEL OF PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF BROOKE’S POINT, PROVINCE OF PALAWAN, ISLAND OF PALAWAN.

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce, and pursuant to the provisions of section eighty-three of Commonwealth Act Numbered One hundred and forty-one, known as "The Public Land Act," I, Manuel L. Quezon, President of the Philippines, hereby reserve for forest station site purposes, and withdraw from sale, settlement, or other disposition, subject to private rights, if any there be, that portion of the public domain, situated in the municipal district of Brooke’s Point, Province of Palawan, Island of Palawan, and described in the Bureau of Forestry map NO. F. R. – 75, to wit:

Beginning at point marked "1," on Bureau of Forestry map No. F. R. – 75, a point on southwest junction of streets, which is S. 18˚ W., 60 meters from B. L. L. M. No. 1, Brooke’s Point, Palawan; thence due south, 50 meters to corner 2, a point on west side of street; thence due west, 50 meters to corner 3, a point identical to one of the common corner of lots of Macmac and Edwards; thence due north, 50 meters to corner 4, a point identical to one of the corners of lot of Edwards; and thence due east, 50 meters to corner 1, the point of beginning.

Containing an area of approximately 0.25 hectare.

The said parcel of land shall be known as the Brooke’s Point Forest Station Site Reservation and shall remain under the administration of the Bureau of Forestry.

In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Commonwealth of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done at the City of Washington, D. C. (for the City of Manila), this twenty-seventh day of June, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and thirty-seven, and of the Commonwealth of the Philippines, the second.
