BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 1671 —

DECLARING FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 28, 2008 AS SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF SARANGANI

WHEREAS, Friday, November 28, 2008, marks the 16® Foundation Day anniversary of the Province of Sarangani;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Sarangani be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Friday, November 28, 2008 as special (non-working) day in the Province of Sarangani.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
