Proclamation No. 168

RESERVING FOR WHARF SITE PURPOSES A PARCEL OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CARMEN, PROVINCE OF CEBU, ISLAND OF CEBU.

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce and pursuant to the provisions of section eighty-three of Commonwealth Act Numbered One hundred and forty-one, I hereby withdraw from sale or settlement and reserve for wharf site purposes, under the administration of the municipality of Carmen, subject to private rights, if any there be, the following-described parcel of the public domain, situated in the municipality of Carmen, Province of Cebu, Island of Cebu, and particularly described in Bureau of Lands plan Mr-375, to wit:

Beginning at a point marked "1" on plan Mr-375, N. 9˚ 14’ E. 231.45 m. from B. L. L. M. No. 1, municipality of Carmen, thence N. 6˚ 15’ E. 158.77 m. to point 2; N. 6˚ 02’ E. 139.98 m. to point 3; S. 83˚ 59’ E. 110.00 m. to point 4; S. 83˚ 59’ E. 167.44 m. to point 5; S. 83˚ 22’ E. 22.17 m. to point 6; S. 6˚ 06’ W. 150.02 m. to point 7; S. 6˚ 05’ W. 148.49 m. to point 8; N. 83˚ 59’ W. 149.49 m. to point 9; N. 83˚ 59’ W. 150.37 m. to point 1, the point of beginning.

Containing an area of 8.9501 hectares.

Points 6, 7, and 8, stakes; and the rest are B. L. concrete monuments, 15 by 60 cm.

Bounded on the north, by public land; on the east, by Camotes Sea; on the south, by public land; and on the west, by provincial road.

Bearings true. Declination, 1˚ 24’ E.
