Proclamation No. 169

RESERVING FOR PARK PURPOSES A PARCEL OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TIGBAUAN, PROVINCE OF ILOILO, ISLAND OF PANAY.

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce and pursuant to the provisions of section eighty-three of Commonwealth Act Numbered One hundred and forty-one, I hereby withdraw from sale or settlement and reserve for park purposes, under the administration of the municipality of Tigbauan, subject to private rights, if any there be, the following-described parcel of the public domain, situated in the municipality of Tigbauan, Province of Iloilo, Island of Panay, and particularly described in Bureau of Lands plan Mr-385, to wit:

Beginning at a point marked "1" on plan Mr-385, S. 44˚ 47’ W. 85.14 m. from B. L. L. M. No. 1, municipality of Tigbauan, thence N. 46˚ 03’ W. 149.70 m. to point 2; N. 45˚ 50’ E. 53.40 m. to point 3; S. 51˚ 12’ E. 82.50 m. to point 4; S. 67˚ 38’ E. 76.40 m. to point 5; S. 47˚ 22’ W. 89.00 m. to point 1, point of beginning.

Containing an area of 9,819 square meters.

Points 2, 3, and 4, stakes.

Bounded on the northeast, by Calle Real; on the southeast, by Calle Santa Lucia; on the southwest, by Calle Victoria; and on the northwest, by Calle Real to Guimbal.

Bearings true. Declination, 1˚ 40’ E.

Points referred to marked on plan Mr-385.

Surveyed: April, 1912-September, 1912.

NOTE: – This is lot No. 217 of Tigbauan cadastre No. 26, case No. 7-A.

All corners not otherwise described are B. L. concrete monuments, 15 by 60 cm.
