BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 170

EXTENDING THE NATIONAL EDUCATIONAL, MEMBERSHIP AND FUND CAMPAIGN OF THE PHILIPPINE CANCER SOCIETY, INC., UP TO SEPTEMBER 4, 1988.

WHEREAS, under Proclamation No. 29, series of 1586, the Philippine Cancer Society, Inc., was authorized to conduct a national educational, membership and fund campaign during the period from September 4, 1986, to September 4, 1987; and

WHEREAS, the Philippine Cancer Society, Inc., needs additional time to enable it to raise more funds to attain its laudable goal;

NOW, THEREFORE, 1, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby extend the national educational, membership and fund campaign of the Philippine Cancer Society, Inc., until September 4, 1988.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, | have hereunto set my héend and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
