PROCLAMATION NO. 1703

DECLARING FRIDAY, JANUARY 16, 2069, AS SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN BATANGAS CITY

WHEREAS, the City of Batangas celebrates its city fiesta in honor of its patron saint, Sto. Nifio on Friday, January 16, 2009;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Batangas, be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORTA MACAPAGAL—ARROYO, do hereby declare Friday, January 16, 2009, as special (non-working) day in Batangas City.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
