BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 1708 DECLARING TUESDAY, JANUARY 20, 2009, AS SPECIAL (NOM- WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF TARLAC WHERAS, the City of Tarlac celebrates the :I;" Malatarlak Festival on January 9-20, 2009; WHEREAS, the Office of the City Mayor requested that Tuesday, January 20, 2009, be declared as special non-working day in ii.re City of Tarlac; WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Tarlac be given full opportunity to celebrate the (;ccasion with appropriate ceremonies. NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Tuesday, January 20, 2009, as special (non-:IS;-king) day in the City of Tarlac.
