BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 1 71 DECLARING NOVEMBER 20 TO 26, 2011 AS "ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING WEEK" WHEREAS, the Institute of Integrrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines, Inc. (IIEE), will hold its 36th Annual National Convention on November 23 to 26, 2011 at the Philippine International Convention Center, CCP Complex, Pasay City; and . WHEREAS, there is a need to focus national attention on the importance of the electrical engineering profession and highlight its role in nation-building . NOW, THEREFORE, I.BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, President of the Philippines, by the virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare November 20 to 26,' 2011 as "Electrical Engineering Week" under the auspices of the IIEE. IN WI,TNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
