MALAC~~ANG Manila BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 1711 DECLARING MONDAY, JANUARY 26, 2009, AS SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF CADIZ WHEREAS, Monday, January 26, 2009, the City of Cadiz marks the celebration of the feast of its patron saint, Santo NiAo de Cadiz; WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Cadiz, be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies. NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Monday, January 26, 2009, as special (non-working) day in the City of Cadiz.
