BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 1729
DECLARING THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 2009, AS SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF ZAMBOANGA
WHEREAS, Thursday, February 26, 2009, marks the 72" Charter Day Anniversary of Zamboanga City;
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of Zamboanga City be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Thursday, February 26, 2009, as special (non-working) day in the City of Zamboanga.
