MALACANANG MANILA MftJ PROCLAMATION N(). .ill DECLARING MAY 11 OF EVERY YEAR AS A LOCAL SPECIAL DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BILIRAN WHEREAS, the foundation anniversary of Biliran Province falls on May 11 and the residents of Biliran desires to commemorate this event with fitting ceremonies; and WHEREAS, Section 27, Chapter 7, Book I of the dministrative Code of 1987 provides that the "President may proclaim any local special day for a particular date, group or place". HOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare May 11 of every year as a local special day in the Province of Biliran. 7th DONE in the City of Manila, this day of May in the yearof Our Lord, Nineteen Hundred and Ninety-Three.
