PROCLAMATION NO. 179

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 1987, AS A SPECIAL Day IN THE PROVINCE OF BOHOL AND THE CITY OF TAGBILARAN,

WHEREAS, November 4, 1987, marks the 91st birth anniversary of the late President Carlos P. Garcia, an illustrious son of Bohol Province who became the Presiaent of the Philippines and the first President of the 1971 Constitutional Convenlion; and

WHEREAS, the people of Bohol and Tagbilaran City desire that they be afforded the opportunity to comme- morate his natal day with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. ASUINO, President of the Fhilippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Wednesday, November 4, 1987,

as @ special day in the Province of Bohol and the City of Tagbilaran.
