BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 1811

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, JULY 1, 2009 AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF DAVAO DEL SUR

WHEREAS, Wednesday, July 1, 2009, marks the 42™ founding day anniversary of the Province of Davao del Sur;

WHEREAS, it is essential that the people of the Province of Davao del Sur be given ample time to celebrate the occasion and to rekindle and rediscover their rich customs and traditions.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by the power of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby deciare Wednesday, July 1, 2009, as a special (non-working) day in the Province of Davao del Sur.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed. ,
