DECLARING TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 2009 AS SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN DIGOS CITY, DAVAO DEL SUR

WHEREAS, Tuesday, September 8, 2009, marks the founding day anniversary of the City of Digos, Province of Davao del Sur;

WHEREAS, the commemoration of*Araw ng Digos City is an opportune time for Digosefios to learn about their heritage, the uniqueness of their culture and enjoy the pleasures of belonging to a community;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare

Tuesday, September 8, 2009, as special (non-working) day in the City of Digos, Province of Davao del Sur.
