PROCLAMATION NO. 182

DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM NOVEMBER 15 TO 21, 1987, AS “MANAGEMENT CONSCIOUSNESS WEEK.”

WHEREAS, it te the policy of the Government to Promote management consciousness in both the publie and private sectors to help achieve the developmental goals sf the Nation;

WHEREAS, the Philippine Council ot Management (PHILCOWAN ) is sponsoring the 19th Philippine Management Congress on November 19 - 20, 1587, at the Manila Garden Hotel, on the theme, "Critical Filipino Values for Today’s Managers and Entrepreneurs”, which will be attended by management experts, practitioners, educators and students; and

WHERFAS, twanagement consciousness is essential to

promote better business practices, increase production and improve public administration and services, which are vital Prerequisites to economic development,

social progress and stability;

NOW, THEREFORE, I CORAZON C. AQUINO, President o= the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law. do hereby declare the period from November 15 to 21, 1987 as “MANAGEMENT CONSCIOUSNESS WEEK".

I eall upon all management practitioners, educators and students to give the observance of the week their full support.
