BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 182

DECLARING MONDAY, 20 MARCH 2017, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF CANLAON, PROVINCE OF NEGROS ORIENTAL

WHEREAS, the City of Canlaon, Negros Oriental, marks the annual celebration of the “Pasayaw Festival” every 19" of March;

WHEREAS, to enable the people of the City of Canlaon, to fully celebrate the occasion, the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Canlaon requested that Monday, 20 March 2017 be declared as a special non-working day instead of 19 March 2017 which falls on a Sunday;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Canlaon, be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, |, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Monday, 20 March 2017, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Canlaon, Negros Oriental.
