BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 1830

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, JULY 15, 2009 AS SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE CORDILLERA ADMINISTRATIVE REGION

WHEREAS, Wednesday, July 15, 2009, marks the 22" founding anniversary of the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR);

WHEREAS, it is but fitting that the people of CAR be given full opportunity to highlight this historic event through appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by the power of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Wednesday, July 15, 2009, as a special (non-working) day in the Cordillera Administrative Region.

IN WITNESS WHEREGOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
