PROCLAMATION NO. 1836

DECLARING FRIDAY, JULY 17, 2009, AS A SPECIAL WORKING DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BULACAN, IN COMMEMORATION OF THE BIRTHDAY OF GEN. ALEJO S. SANTOS

WHEREAS, July 17, 2009 is the birthday of Gen. Alejo S. Santos, a native of Bulacan, a bemedalled soldier, a well-loved politician and an exemplary public servant;

WHEREAS, a hero to his townmates, it is but fitting that a special day be declared in appreciation and in memory of his accomplishments and his heroism, _

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by the power of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Friday, July 17, 2009, as a special working day in the Province of Bulacan,

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
