PROCLAMATION NO. 184

DECLARING MAY 8 OF EVERY YEAR AS “ARAW NG HERMOSA” IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF HERMOSA, PROVINCE OF BATAAN

WHEREAS, it is the custom of the people in the Municipality of Hermosa to celebrate May 8 of every year as their “Araw ng Hermosa”;

WHEREAS, a celebration should be held on the said date to commemorate this historical occasion in the lives of every citizen of Hermosa, Bataan;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare May 8 of every year as “Araw ng Hermosa” in the Municipality of Hermosa, Province of Bataan, The day however, shall be a regular working and school day.
