BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHII.IPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 1847

DECLARING MONDAY, AUGUST 3, 2009, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF BUTUAN WHEREAS, August 2, 2009, marks the ceiebration of the 58" Adlaw Hong Butuan, the Charter Day anniversary of the Citv of Butuan;

WHEREAS, to enable the people of the City of Butuan celebrate the occasion, the Office of the Mayor requested that Monday, August 3, 2009 be declared as a special non-working day instead of August 2,.2009, which falls on a Sunday;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting. and proper that the people of the City of Butuan be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GABRIEL S. CLAUDIO, Acting Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Monday, August 3, 2009, as special (nen-working) day in the City of Butuan.
