DECLARING FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 4, 2009, AS SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MONKAYO, PROVINCE OF COMPOSTELA VALLEY

WHEREAS, Friday, September 4, 2009, marks the 55" Foundation Day anniversary and 14" Kariyawan Festival of the Municipality of Monkayo, Province of Compostela Valley;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Monkayo, Province of Compostela Valley, be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Friday, September 4, 2009, as special tnon- working) day in the Municipality of Monkayo, Province of Compostela Valley.
