BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO, 1861

AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 67 DATED DECEMBER 21, 1962 WHICH ESTABLISHED THE CAMP GENERAL MACARIO B&B. PERALTA, IR. IN BARANGAY GANZON, MUNICIPALITY OF JAMINDAN, PROVINCE OF CAPIZ, ISLAND OF PANAY BY EXCLUDING 200 HECTARES EMBRACED THEREIN AND RESERVING THE SAME AS ARMED FORCES OF THE PHILIPPINES (AFP) OFF-BASE HOUSING SITE

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-~ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby amend Proclamation No. 67, dated December 21, 1962, which established the Camp General Macario D. Peralta, Jr. by excluding 200 hectares (2,600,000 square meters) embraced therein for reservation as Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Off-Base Housing Site purposes, situated in Barangay Ganzon, Municipality of Jamindan, province of Capiz, Island of Panay, subject to private rights and final ground survey, if any there be, which parcel of land is more particularly described as follows:

Portion of Lot Ne. 219, Sqs-06-001548 Jamindan Cadastre

A PARCEL OF LAND (portion of Lot No. 219, Sgs-06-001548, being a portion of Cad. 975-D, Jamincan Cadastre), situated in Barangay Ganzon, Municipality of Jamindan, Province of Capiz, Island of Panay. Bounded on the NE., SE., SW., and NW., along lines 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11-1 all of 219 Portion, Cad. 975-D, Jamindan Cadastre, Beginning at a point marked “1” on plan being S. 67 deg. 19’ W., 7,773.20 m. from BLLM No. 2. Pis- 527-D, Jamindan Cadastre, thence:

Bue South 1,926.73 m. to point 2;

Due East 1,000.00 m, to point 3;

Due South 992.73 Mm. to point 4;

S. 63-52' W., 1,196.73 m., to point 5;

Note: Lot 219 (Portion) is equivalent to Lot No. 316, Cad-975-D, Jamindan Cadastre

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources is hereby authorized to issue Special Land Use Permit (SLUP) or any appropriate tenurial instrument applicable for the purpose in accordance with existing forestry laws, rules and regulations.

The PA-AFP shall formulate a budget to implement this Proclamation taking into account the funding requirement for various activities to be undertaken in connection hereof. The DND/AFP/PA is authorized to provide the corresponding funds for the site developmental cost and other logistical requirements of the project.
