MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 1382

DECLARING SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2009 AS SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF LIPA

WHEREAS, on September 11 and 12, 2009, the National Day of Prayer for Peace and Sanctification of the Clergy will be held in Lipa City;

WHEREAS, it is anticipated that thousands of lay pilgrims and participating clergies will flock in Lipa City to join the celebration;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that tt government of the City of Lipa manage the occasion,

le people and the local be given full Opportunity to participate and

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby

declare Saturday, September 12, 2009, as special (non-working) day in the City of Lipa.
