PROCLAMATION NO. 190 - = wane oJ

DECLARING AS CIVIL RESERVATION FOR MUNICIPAL SITE OF NAGTIPUNAN, QUIRINO, A PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN COVERING 250 HECTARES, SITUATED IN BARANGAY PONGGO OF SAID MUNICIPALITY

Upon the recommendation of the Director of the Bureau of Forest Development, with the concurrence of the Minister of Natural Resources (now Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources), and pursuant to Section 18 of Presidential Decree 705, otherwise known as the Revised Forestry Code of the Philippines, as amended, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, Go hereby declare as civil reservation for municipal site a certain parcel cf land of the public domain located in Barangay Ponggo, Municipality of Nagtipunan, Province of Quirino, as shown and described in BFD Map CR-376, which is described as follows:

containing an ect of 250 hectares, more or less, subject to private rights, if any there be and to the following conditions:

l. The administration and management of the area covered by the reservation shall be jointly under the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and the Department of Local Government. For this purpose, a five-year development plan shall be submitted to the Office of the President by the Municipal Council of Nagtipunan, Quirino within one year from approval hereof, furnishing the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and the Forest Management Bureau copies thereof.

2. The extraction and utilization of timber and other forest products remaining in the area shall be subject to forest and Internal Revenue Laws and Regulations.

3. In the event that the area is no longer needed for the purpose stated, or its development has already been abandoned for a period of two (2) years, this proclamation is automatically with- drawn, revoked or cancelled and the subject area regain its former status as part and parcel of the public domain.

The northern portion of the subject area containing about forty nine (49) hectares, which is within the Manglad Forest Reserve, established under Proclamation No. 124, dated November 25, 1966, is automatically excluded from the operation of said proclamation.
