PROCLAMATION NO. 1917

DECLARING THE EXISTENCE OF A STATE OF PUSLIC CALAMITY IN THE PROVINCES OF BATAAN, QUEZON, CAVITE, BATANGAS, MARINOUQUE, ALSAY, SORSOGON, MASSATE, INCLUOING BURTAS ISLAND, CAMARINES SUR, LEYTE AND NORTHERN SAMAR.

WHEREAS, the provinces of Bataan, Quezon, Cavite, Batanaas, Marinducue, Albay, Sorsogon, Masbate, including Burias. Istand, Camarines. Sur, Leyte and Northern Samar have suffered damages to crops, livesteck and property caused by typhoon "Sisang", which necessitates the deciaration of a state af calamity in said prov- INCES:

NOW, THEREFORE, 1, CORAZON C, AQUING, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby proclaim that a stete of calamity exists in the following areas in Central Luzon, Southern Tagalog, Bicol and Eastern Visayas: Bataan, Quezon, Cavite, Batangas, Marinduque, Albay, Sorsogon, Masbate, inciuding 8urias Island, Camarines Sur, Leyte and Northern Samar.

All denartments and other government agencies concerned are hereby directed to imolement and execute reliey and renasilitation Work Jn accordance with existing operational plans and directives and ordefs issued in connection With calamities.
